NFL - Decorated four-year starter whose production surpassed that of former Bulldog and current Green Bay Packer Davante Adams. Scouts worry about Johnson's speed and "inflated" production based upon the way he was used, but his ability to win jump balls with athletic ability and contested catches underneath with positioning and hand strength is what helps him stand out. He might lack timed speed, but he's smooth and natural in the way he operates and could surprise if he tightens up his routes.

NFC west coast scout - "I see what you are seeing, but it's just hard for me to get too excited about him unless he runs well. He's got great ball skills but I don't see him outside and he's not as quick as you want inside."

CBS - Johnson has a first-round production profile paired with second-round-level college competition and third-round athlete testing. Since I’m comfortable taking shots on production over athleticism, that makes him an ideal target for me. But he is also someone, even with great production, who comes with a warning label in dynasty.

Draft Sharks - Johnson puts a big checkmark in the production box. He boasts big raw production for his career and 2018, strong market shares and nice efficiency. But he disappointed at the Combine, registering a 27th percentile SPARQ score. And that lack of athleticism shows up on tape. Johnson struggles to separate from defenders, is just average in contested situations and doesn’t pick up much more than what’s blocked after the catch.
